B.A. The College of Wooster, J.D. The Ohio State University College of Law; 26 years of horse handling experience, 13 years developing, implementing and managing equine education programs.  Professionally served as legal counsel for Ohio Secretary of State Bob Taft and IDEAS International developing computer systems to apply campaign finance law.  Currently employed by the Ohio Judicial Conference.  Co-owner of Field of Dreams Riding Stables.

Becky King, Lesson Coordinator

Becky graduated from The Ohio State University with a double major in Criminology and Sociology.  She grew up with her neighbor's horses, attending camps and taking riding lessons.  As a new mother, Becky now does what she loves most- working with youths and horses.  She also works as an alternative instructor for Gahanna Lincoln High School through Field of Dreams' Dreamcatchers’ program instructing at-risk youth and helping them to graduate .

Katie Wheeler, Riding Instructor, Barn Manager, Show Team, Scheduling

Katie has been involved with horses for over 18 years. She has participated in 4-H and shown successfully at the Ohio State Fair as well as many open shows. She has been teaching lessons at Field of Dreams since 2003.

Kelsey Walne, Riding Instructor

Maria George, Riding Instructor, Summer Camp Supervisor

Maria has been riding and showing horses for 10 years.  She has competitively shown in western, english, and hunter/jumper events in AQHA, IEA,ISHA and APHA.  Maria rode her freshman year of college on The University of Findlay’s Equestrian Team as an open rider. In addition, she holds an AQHA Congress Championship Title and multiple top ten placing at the AQHYA World Championship Show.  Maria is currently a student at The Ohio State University pursuing a career in education with hopes to incorporate her love of horses into her future career.

Kelsey began teaching at Field of Dreams in 2017. She has an extensive background in therapeutic riding but also has experience teaching typical riding lessons. She also has experience working with gaited horses including her own Icelandic mare who is still currently working at a therapeutic riding center in Virginia.

Troi Orth, Asst. Barn Mngr, Riding Instructor, Trainer, Show Coach

Troi has been riding and showing horses since she was young. She has a very diverse horse background, from jumping to reining, driving to hunt seat, and has even worked at the racetrack. Awards received by some of the horses and clients she has trained are:World Champions, 2 AQHA Reserve World Champions, 6 AQHA Congress Champions, AQHA Reserve Congress Champions, 1 Reserve All Around at AQHA Congress, and 1 Reserve All Around Amateur at AQHA World Show. She is married with a little girl who brightens her days.

Marsha has been involved with horses for over 30 years.  She grew up on a horse farm and helped with the everyday operations as well as training horses and teaching lessons. She showed on the ASHA circuit as well as 4H and Open Shows and was involved in 4H for 6 year.  She has been involved at Field of Dreams since 2009 helping with the Ranch Hands programs, supervising and handling for special events and showing on the FOD Show Team with her daughter.  She has 2 daughters riding at FOD, a husband that supports them every step of the way and has recently found his love for horses, 2 dogs, a bunny and the most recent addition to their family, a beautiful paint mare named Molly.

Jen Pietsch, Riding Instructor

Jennifer grew up in southern Maryland showing on the local and quarter horse circuits before moving west to attend college at The Ohio State University. She studied animal sciences at OSU with a double minor in equine science and disability studies. She served as the president of the western equestrian team and was a member of the 2014 national champion and 2016 reserve national champion teams. She was also a member of the horse judging team, being top ten at the Congress in both 2014 and 2015 and top fifteen at the AQHA World Show in 2015. Currently Jennifer is working toward my Master's in Social Work at Ohio State, teaches the Equine Selection and Evaluation course and coaches the horse judging team.  Jennifer completed certification with PATH International as a therapeutic riding instructor in 2016.
